Role Description:
The Senior SharePoint Developer leads the design of scalable SharePoint Online and on-premise environments, defining information architecture, governance standards, and reusable site frameworks. They build automated workflows to eliminate manual effort and develop knowledge-sharing repositories — translating business problems into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
Specialized Skills:
SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, JavaScript Net/C#, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI integration) Cost controls and capital planning Microsoft 365 architecture and administration Azure/AWS/Entra ID (identity, conditional access, MFA integration) Search optimization, metadata design Records management and retention strategies
Technical and IT Delivery:
CI/CI pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git Hub) PowerShell scripting and automation Packaging and deployment of SharePoint solutions Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models DevOps and CI/CD awareness Systems integration and API mgt Data governance and digital transformation initiatives Change management Status reporting 5-10+ years of SharePoint/Microsoft 365 development Experience leading enterprise implementations and migrations Experience working in governed environments (public sector, mid-large enterprise) Experience with a matrixed technical team Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
