Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and other benefit options available We are seeking an experienced Full Stack TypeScript Developer to join an innovative R&D team developing software that powers automated agricultural research systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design and build applications that interact directly with automated machinery while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite position in Ankeny, IA . Candidates must currently reside in or near the area. Relocation assistance and employment sponsorship are not available. Responsibilities Develop full stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Design and develop RESTful JSON APIs. Design relational databases and write complex SQL queries. Develop, debug, test, and enhance software used in automated research systems. Participate in software design discussions and provide technical input throughout the development lifecycle. Support implementation and ongoing enhancements of existing applications. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 5 years of software development experience. 2+ years of professional TypeScript and JavaScript development. Strong experience with Node.js and React. Experience designing relational databases and developing SQL queries. Experience building JSON APIs. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work onsite in Ankeny, IA. Ability to support a seasonal second shift (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM) from February through May. Preferred Qualifications Git GitHub Actions Docker Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools Additional Information W2 employment only. Initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential. No C2C, third-party vendors, or sponsorship. Local candidates only. Relocation is not available.

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
