  • $100,000 a year
  • Full-time $70,000
  • $100,000 a year
  • Full-time We are hiring a full-time Software Developer to help build, maintain, and improve the internal systems, integrations, automations, reports, and tools that support our sales, marketing, operations, reporting, and client service teams.
This is a hands-on, business-focused development role. We need someone who can write code, move data between systems, troubleshoot problems, communicate clearly, and get projects completed — even when the solution is not perfect yet. The right person understands that in a growing business, speed, practicality, teamwork, and follow-through matter just as much as technical elegance. What You'll Do Build, maintain, and improve internal tools, automations, integrations, reports, and web-based applications. Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, reports, and data processes . Use Python and C# to automate workflows, process files, connect systems, and move data reliably between platforms. Build and support integrations with systems such as: DocuSign Stax Segment.io Cloudflare Workers HubSpot Internal databases CRM, phone, billing, document, marketing, and reporting platforms Help support the company's transition to HubSpot as the primary sales CRM. Create and maintain data flows between internal systems and third-party applications. Troubleshoot bugs, data issues, API failures, reporting problems, and integration errors. Build or improve front-end tools and user interfaces when needed. Use tools such as Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, troubleshoot issues, generate code faster, and complete projects more efficiently. Work directly with leadership and department users to understand the business problem before building the solution. Document important code, workflows, integrations, and deployment steps so the team can support the work long term. Complete projects with urgency, even when the first version is not perfect. What We're Looking For Strong SQL skills are required. This role involves frequent work with databases, reporting, data cleanup, joins, stored procedures, views, performance issues, and moving data between systems. Strong Python development experience. C# / .NET experience. Experience using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted coding tools as part of a modern development workflow. Experience passing data between systems using APIs, webhooks, files, databases, queues, or automation tools. Front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, or similar tools. Ability to troubleshoot issues across databases, code, APIs, and third-party platforms. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users. Ability to work well on a team and collaborate with other developers, managers, and department leaders. A practical mindset focused on business outcomes, not just perfect code. Ability to prioritize, follow through, and get projects done. Willingness to ask questions early when blocked or unclear. Ability to accept feedback and adjust based on business needs. Strong attention to detail, especially when working with data. Important Traits for This Role We are looking for someone who: Gets stuff done. Has strong SQL and data troubleshooting skills. Can move quickly without being reckless. Knows when "good and working" is better than "perfect and late." Communicates clearly and often. Works well with a team. Does not build in a silo. Uses AI-assisted development tools effectively, but still understands, reviews, tests, and owns the code. Understands that users may not always know the technical answer, but they do know the business problem. Can balance clean architecture with real deadlines. Can support back-end data work, integrations, and front-end user needs. Can document enough so others can understand and maintain the work. Helpful Experience Experience with HubSpot, especially CRM objects, workflows, APIs, custom properties, and data migration. Experience with SQL Server database design, stored procedures, indexes, query tuning, reporting, and data validation. Experience with DocuSign integrations. Experience with Stax or payment processing platforms. Experience with Segment.io, analytics tracking, customer data platforms, or event-based data. Experience with Cloudflare Workers, serverless functions, edge logic, or API proxying. Experience with ETL, reporting, dashboards, data imports, and exports. Experience with version control, deployment pipelines, testing, and production support. Experience with tax software or financial service platforms is helpful, but not required. Experience working in a small or mid-sized business where developers need to wear multiple hats. What This Role Is Not This is not a role for someone who only wants to work on isolated engineering projects. This is not a role for someone who is weak in SQL or uncomfortable working directly with data. This is not a role for someone who needs every project to be perfect before anything ships. This is not a role for someone who avoids talking to users, managers, or other departments. This is not a role for someone who dislikes troubleshooting messy real-world systems. This is not a role for someone who works in a silo and leaves others unable to support their work. This is not a role for someone who blindly trusts AI-generated code without understanding, testing, or validating it. Why This Role Matters Our systems directly affect how fast we respond to leads, how accurately we track marketing and sales performance, how efficiently our teams work, and how well we serve our clients. You will work on projects that have a real impact on the business, including CRM migration, lead flow, data integrations, reporting, automation, document workflows, payment systems, marketing attribution, analytics, and internal tools.
