Software Engineer

Design, develop, and implement software applications using languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, Java, and .NET. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and REST interfaces to enable smooth communication between different systems and services. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of applications. Develop front-end components using React Express and other web development frameworks to create engaging user interfaces. Write efficient SQL queries for MySQL and SQL databases; optimize database performance for large-scale data handling. Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, and Git to track changes and collaborate effectively with team members. Implement security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard sensitive data and systems. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement. Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure high standards of quality across all deliverables. Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C++, C#, Java, and VBA. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, application deployment environments, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Hands-on experience with web development frameworks including React Express and RESTful API design principles. Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL and SQL; ability to write optimized queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, or Git for collaborative development workflows. Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently. Understanding of security protocols such as RBAC for managing user permissions securely across applications. Background in application development for both front-end (user interface) and back-end (server-side logic). Exposure to quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required; a strong foundation in software engineering principles is essential.
