Job Description
Job Summary The Workday Integration Lead will support a wide range of Workday integration initiatives across HR Technology, Finance, Procurement, and other business functions. This role involves designing, enhancing, and maintaining integrations with third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality data exchange between upstream and downstream systems. The position includes contributing to solution design, field mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of Workday integration enhancements. The role is focused on improving operational efficiency, supporting evolving business requirements, and strengthening the overall Workday ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Resolve integration incidents and failures, ensuring closure within defined SLAs. Develop new integrations within the HR workstream. Collaborate with business partners on new and ongoing Workday projects. Debug production issues and provide timely solutions. Participate in root cause analysis and develop workarounds or resolutions for HR cases. Perform hands-on development to resolve integration issues and incidents. Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency. Participate in engineering efforts for ETL solutions, including system design, build, deployment, best practices, and testing. Create well-documented change requests and follow up on required approvals. Communicate effectively with global stakeholders, IT teams, and business partners. Provide Level 3 support during production failures. Upskill across different areas and technologies as needed. Work with upstream and downstream application teams to identify and mitigate risks or issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with Workday, integrations, and API-based solutions. Experience with Workday projects, preferably including implementation work. Ability to write XSLT scripting (XSLT 2.0 / XSLT 3.0). Hands-on experience with Workday Studio. Hands-on experience with API integrations using SOAP or REST. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ETL engineering practices and system design. Ability to work effectively with global teams and multiple stakeholders.
