4-6 Months Contract Role Summary We are seeking a Citrix Senior Architect with deep expertise in Citrix VDI and End User Computing (EUC) environments to design, implement, and optimize an enterprise-scale Citrix platform. The ideal candidate will lead architecture strategy, proactive monitoring implementation, and experience-focused analytics to ensure high performance, reliability, and improved end-user satisfaction. The architect will also implement experience monitoring frameworks, define XLAs, and develop observability strategies to proactively detect and resolve user experience issues before they impact business operations. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Delivery Lead end-to-end architecture design and implementation of Citrix VDI environments. Assess current infrastructure and design scalable, secure, and highly available architectures . Provide architectural guidance during deployment, optimization, and stabilization phases . Ensure Citrix environments support performance, security, and future scalability requirements . End-User Experience & Monitoring Design and implement proactive monitoring strategies for the Citrix platform. Identify user experience issues before they reach the Service Desk . Define Experience Level Agreements (XLAs) aligned with business outcomes.

Analyze trends including:

Logon performance Session reliability Network latency Resource utilization Tooling & Observability Evaluate current monitoring and analytics capabilities . Implement or recommend best-in-class EUC monitoring tools .

Ensure full visibility into:

User sessions Logon times Application performance Infrastructure health Develop operational dashboards and reporting frameworks . Capacity & Lifecycle Management Lead capacity planning and forecasting for Citrix infrastructure. Define lifecycle strategies including upgrades, patching, and technical debt remediation . Ensure alignment with vendor support timelines and enterprise standards . Collaboration & Leadership Partner with network, infrastructure, security, and operations teams . Provide executive-level insights and architecture recommendations . Deliver documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer . Required Skills & Qualifications Senior-level experience with Citrix DaaS / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) Strong expertise in: Citrix VDI architecture StoreFront Citrix Gateway / NetScaler VDAs Experience designing enterprise-scale Citrix environments . Strong knowledge of end-user experience monitoring tools . Hands-on experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting . Experience defining XLAs and user experience KPIs . Ability to operate independently at Senior Architect / Principal level . Nice to Have Experience with EUC monitoring tools such as: ControlUp eG Innovations Lakeside SysTrack Citrix Director Experience working with enterprise healthcare or regulated environments .
