HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois job type: Permanent salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: What You Will Do (Essential Functions) In this role, you will take ownership of advanced automation cells from concept to reality:
Design & Architecture:
Architect and design robust machine tending automation cell controllers.
System Interfacing:
Seamlessly integrate sophisticated hardware networks including CNC machine tools, industrial robots, component washers, vision gages/CMM systems, and serialization markers.
Programming & Intelligence:
Program and optimize PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred), configure robust industrial robotics (Fanuc), and implement precise machine vision systems (iRvision, Cognex).
Commissioning & Runoffs:
Drive automation cell testing and final runoffs at both the state-of-the-art factory facility and directly at customer sites.
Documentation Excellence:
Craft detailed technical design specifications, schematics, and system documentation.
Client Empowerment:
Provide technical leadership through comprehensive customer training and advanced troubleshooting support.

Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
