HIL/SIL Validation Engineer Location:

5+ Years Job Summary The Validation & Verification Engineer will support HIL/SIL testing and validation activities for embedded automotive and heavy machinery systems. This role involves validating software functionality, executing test cases, and supporting integration efforts within advanced engineering programs. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute validation and verification test plans Perform HIL/SIL testing for embedded control systems and software features Validate system performance, functionality, and integration requirements Investigate failures and support root cause analysis activities Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams Document test results, defects, and validation reports Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in V&V, testing, or systems validation Strong hands-on experience with HIL/SIL environments Knowledge of embedded systems and automotive software validation processes Experience with debugging and troubleshooting integrated systems Strong analytical and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Automotive, off-highway, or large machinery experience Familiarity with ECMs, CAN tools, or diagnostics Exposure to software integration and verification activities Experience supporting complex engineering validation programs Regards Durga durga@cozentech.com
