Java Developer Microservices & Integration (L2+/L3 Support)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled 10+ years of Java Developer specializing in Microservices and Integration. Duties Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate efficient data exchange between systems. Support US Driver License systems by integrating backend services with front-end interfaces using technologies such as React, Angular, and TypeScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system specifications, and translate them into technical solutions following Agile methodologies. Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code that meets functional and performance standards. Develop database schemas and optimize queries using SQL (including T-SQL), PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB for efficient data management. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices to maintain code quality. Requirements Proven experience developing Java applications with a strong focus on Microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Hands-on expertise with web development frameworks such as Spring Boot, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and ASP.NET for integrated solutions. Familiarity with front-end technologies including React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and UI/UX principles. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable microservices solutions. Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, or TFS; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Strong understanding of database design principles across relational (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Proficiency in software development best practices including Agile methodologies, UML modeling, unit testing frameworks, debugging techniques, and SDLC processes. Ability to work effectively in Linux environments; experience with shell scripting (Bash) or application deployment on IIS is advantageous.
