Conduct thorough investigations and collaborate with technical subject matter experts to provide insightful technical advice on the adoption or integration of innovative technologies and corresponding impact. Develop alternative technical solutions, advising on the associated risks, costs, and benefits, and evaluating their impact on other business processes and system priorities. Develop, test, and implement significant new capabilities, while configuring applicable modules to design optimal solutions. Architect end-to-end Solutions for WMS, including detailed design, configuration, build, testing & production support. Review, validate, and enhance designs, conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning, and oversee the installation, testing, and upgrading of releases and associated products. Evaluate Manhattan Active release notes, new functionality, and upcoming releases for the assigned modules, ensuring that our systems are always up to date and performing efficiently. Meet business objectives by recommending operational improvements and devise innovative approaches to overcome technical or process-related challenges. Develop and motivate the technical team, facilitating a collaborative environment, and ensuring the team meets operational objectives. Lead the development of standards and procedures, communicating findings through IOIs, presentations, white papers, and internal documents. Configure deploy, and support Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) and related products, developing MAWM extensions using the ProActive developer tool, and deploying configurations using the Configuration Director toolset. Maintain knowledge of Cognos Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) reporting with MAWM. Design, develop and deliver SCI Supply Chain Intelligence reports to support operations analytics, KPIs, and executive dashboards. Responsible for supply chain systems implementations, development, configuration, and support, particularly in warehouse management systems (WMS), and warehouse control systems (WCS). Design, configure and integrate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) software solutions/platforms, ensuring technical compatibility and seamless data exchange with Manhattan systems. Work with planning methods and various strategies, as well as with peripheral systems and equipment including label printing solutions, scanners, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and pick-by-light systems. Utilize interface mapping and integration with legacy and third-party applications that support the warehouse ecosystem and integration between Manhattan WMS and
ERP & TMS
platforms. Write complex queries, joins and stored procedures and utilize different WMS tables. Work with RF/hands-free technology, barcoding, RFID, labor management, and warehouse automation. Design and develop Zebra Labels using Mark Magic. Customize Label templates for Operations and Compliance. Design and develop Pack Slips using Jaspersoft Studio (JRXML templates) and install in MAWM. Configure and manage printers in MAWM and integrate it with common UNIX Printing systems (CUPS) server. Work with Cloud Native Applications as well as other software, including APIs and Microservices and develop principles such as CI/CD workspace. Debug and troubleshoot technical Issues and serving as technical point of contact for Manhattan WMS and integrated systems. Supervise two (2) or more Computer Systems Analysts. Up to 20% international travel required.
