III SAIC
is seeking a Computer Engineer III to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This position is responsible for performing Threat Load Development on the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (JCREW) family of electronic jamming systems designed to protect military personnel. The JCREW system is a multi - form factor system used by the U.S. and our allies to counter both unmanned aerial systems and improvised explosive devices. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront in the design, development and execution of complex systems as well as developing and executing test and evaluation procedures. You will be working onsite in a fast paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. Must posses current SECRET clearance and eligible to obtain TS/SCI. Computer Engineer III will be responsible for the following: Design, develop, and integrate complex software systems and applications aligned to program and mission requirements. Contribute to software architecture and technical solutioning. Lead or support system integration, testing (DT), and defect resolution efforts. Perform advanced debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis. Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with system design artifacts. Interface with government stakeholders, including PMAs and organizations such as NAVSEA and NAVAIR, as needed. Enforce secure coding standards and support compliance with
RMF/CMMC
requirements. Review code, designs, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Identify and mitigate technical risks.
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
7+ years of relevant experience and working knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python) Experience in Agile or iterative development environments Apply standard principles and practices Works independently on complex tasks Will lead technical efforts and may mentor others
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
