Job Description

Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer#26-23522 $71.39-$76.39 per hour Lenexa, KS Remote Job Description Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer for their Lenexa, KS /Remote location.
Responsibilities:
System Development & Customization:
Design, develop, and deploy customizations within the Dynamics GP environment using tools such as Dexterity, Modifier with VBA, and Visual Studio Tools.
Integration Management:
Build and maintain data integrations between Dynamics GP and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, billing, HR systems) using eConnect, Integration Manager, and custom API development (C# / .NET).
Database & Reporting:
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Develop custom reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SmartList Builder
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Act as the technical escalation point for GP-related issues. Troubleshoot system errors, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity issues
System Upgrades & Maintenance:
Assist in planning, testing, and executing Dynamics GP version upgrades, service packs, and the installation of third-party ISV products.
Documentation & Collaboration:
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for customizations and integrations. Collaborate with business analysts, finance teams, and technical leadership to gather and refine requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP development, implementation, and technical support.
Core Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Dexterity, eConnect, Integration Manager, and C# / .NET.
Database Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL programming, SSIS, and SSRS. Strong understanding of the underlying Dynamics GP database schema.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to debug complex integrations and custom code.
Communication :
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical financial stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Experience with Dynamics GP migrations (e.g., moving to Dynamics 365 Business Central or Finance & Operations). Familiarity with financial and clinical laboratory workflows (highly relevant if developing solutions within the healthcare or diagnostics sector). Knowledge of Power BI integration with Dynamics GP. Relevant Microsoft certifications
