Job Description

Looking for Fullstack developer (Python AND Experience with GStreamer or multimedia streaming frameworks is must) Topeka, KS (Onsite) Long Term Project C2C Required skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, especially for real-time and socket-based applications.
  • Experience with GStreamer or similar multimedia frameworks.
  • Understanding of SIP, RTP, and G.711 codec behavior.
  • Familiarity with WebSocket protocols and streaming architectures.
  • Strong Linux systems knowledge and basic networking skills.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
Python Expertise:
The role will require strong Python skills, particularly in real-time data processing and socket programming.
    Media Streaming Knowledge:
    Familiarity with GStreamer, RTP, and G.711 codec handling is essential.
      Performance Sensitivity Knowledge:
      Must understand buffering, jitter, and latency management.
      Nice to have skills:
      Continue from required skills:
      AI Integration:
      Experience with WebSocket communication and AI service interfacing (e.g., OpenAI) is beneficial.
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability frameworks.
      • Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
      • Prior work with AI/ML service integration (e.g., OpenAI APIs).
      • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for media streaming and transport.
      • Familiarity with C/C++ for potential GStreamer core-level debugging or open-source contributions.
      Required skills:
      • Proficiency in Python, especially for real-time and socket-based applications.
      • Experience with GStreamer or similar multimedia frameworks.
