Job Description

The Application Analyst supports, administers, and optimizes Med Center Health's third-party applications across business, people operations, and clinical environments. This role provides Tier 2/3 support, performs advanced system configuration, resolves complex issues, and manages application access and security. The Analyst works closely with vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and maintain application reliability. The Application Analyst participates in and often leads project work, including new implementations, upgrades, enhancements, workflow redesign, and operational optimization. Responsibilities span the full application lifecycle and include requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, documentation, and change management. The role collaborates closely with Epic teams to support interfaces, interoperability, and data exchange using HL7, APIs, and secure file transfers. Analysts monitor integrations, troubleshoot failures, and ensure accurate, reliable communication between Epic and third-party applications. This position partners with departments across the organization to understand operational needs, improve workflows, and ensure applications align with business goals, clinical requirements, security standards, and regulatory expectations. On-call and after hours support are required to ensure continuity of critical systems. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in IT, applications support, clinical systems, or related experience required. Previous experience working with third-party systems and vendors preferred. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or related field (or) Associate's degree and two years of related work experience required.
