Join us in the exciting, innovative and rewarding environment of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR)! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Designs, develops, implements, tests, maintains, and enhances new and existing database applications for client or server and web-based environments. Prepares technical and end-user documentation and provides, or assists in providing, training for users of new and existing applications. Provides application, technical, and systems support to departmental staff and public users, including direct content updates and issue resolution for agency personnel. Assists other KDFWR programmers with application design, development, implementation, and testing, and provides hardware, software, and network support, including installation and upgrades for systems outside COT in-scope support. Maintains knowledge of department applications and related databases to support reliable system operation and recommends enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service to the Department. Manages, develops, and maintains content for the Department's website through Microsoft SharePoint, including updates to improve accessibility and ADA compliance. Performs other duties as required.
