Louisville, KY An Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturer specializing in air pollution control, filtration solutions, and engineered industrial systems, based in Louisville, KY. The role will involve regional travel depending on project requirements, including potential coverage in Brazil and Mexico. The successful Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for achieving annual bookings, revenue, and margin targets, supporting retrofit projects, and providing technical solutions related to filtration systems, air pollution control, and industrial equipment. Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Package $90,000 to $130,000 base salary Onsite position in Louisville, KY with regional and international travel Long-term growth opportunity within a global business Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Role Achieve annual bookings, revenue, and margin targets for regional retrofits and aftermarket business in air pollution control and filtration systems Provide technical engineering development and cost estimating for retrofit equipment Support project engineering for live contracts related to filtration systems to ensure timely execution Develop aftermarket opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, and filter replacements in collaboration with the Sales team Assist with the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for air filtration and retrofit solutions Perform inlet inspections and diagnostics of air intakes and support systems where applicable Build and nurture key customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor Identify and recommend new product opportunities, packaging changes, and services based on customer needs and market trends Provide technical support for project managers post-contract award, including design approval, BOM creation, and supplier interaction Review RFQ documents and provide technical and commercial solutions aligned with the company's filtration and industrial systems capabilities Liaise with subcontractors to develop costing solutions and prepare tender documents Participate in technical meetings and direct communications with customers and field sales offices, specifically focused on filtration technologies Update job knowledge through continuous education and participation in industry events related to air pollution control and filtration systems Maintain a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide excellent customer service related to industrial filtration solutions Travel to client sites, as required, to support retrofit and aftermarket filtration projects Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Requirements Proven experience in application engineering, estimating, or project management within filtration, air pollution control, or engineered industrial systems Full understanding of filtration systems for rotating equipment and air pollution control solutions Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, estimates, and proposals Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Excellent organizational skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and project execution Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel) and Autodesk software Engineering project and program management experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a preference for machinery or engineering fields Valid passport for international travel as requiredPay:
