A leading enterprise organisation is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to help drive the modernisation of large-scale cloud data platforms and lakehouse environments. This position combines hands-on architecture with strategic technical leadership, working across platform engineering, distributed data processing, governance, and cloud infrastructure. Key Requirements Extensive experience across data/platform engineering and architecture Strong expertise with Python, SQL, Spark, and modern lakehouse technologies Experience building scalable cloud-native data platforms Strong knowledge of AWS environments Open table format experience required Background leading globally distributed engineering teams Experience within highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments preferred Responsibilities Architect and scale enterprise data platforms Lead platform modernisation and governance initiatives Drive engineering best practices and operational excellence Partner with business and technical stakeholders globally Support delivery leadership, optimisation, and platform reliability
