Job Description:
We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization to hire three (3) Java Full Stack Developers to support the development of advanced, enterprise-scale platforms used in cutting-edge research and data-driven initiatives. This is a high-impact engineering role within a collaborative, forward-thinking team building modern applications that support complex data environments.
Location & Schedule:
Primarily Remote Onsite once per month in Worcester, MA (may be short notice) Please note that candidates must be willing to travel at their own expense if not local to
Worcester Role Overview:
This is a full stack position with a strong backend focus , working primarily within the Java ecosystem (Java 18) . You will contribute to building scalable, enterprise-level applications with complex integrations and high data volume.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support data processing workflows (ETL) Contribute to frontend development as needed (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular) Collaborate across teams on architecture, development, testing, and deployment Participate in code reviews and best practice enforcement Support full application lifecycle management from design to deployment
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on Java development experience (recent versions strongly preferred) Proven experience in full stack development Strong experience with RESTful API development Solid understanding of software engineering best practices Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience working with scientific or data-heavy applications Exposure to CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.) Experience with Oracle databases Familiarity with bioinformatics or scientific platforms Exposure to Gene Data Biologics or similar tools
