Job Summary:
As an Application/Sys Sales Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our organization by promoting and selling our complex application and system solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business and make a significant impact in the field of application and system sales. Assists with technical application of Sales opportunities Positions and presents information of company product offerings Builds technical relationships with new or existing customers Develops and delivers product presentations and demonstrations Develops and delivers technical training to technical support engineers Develops and delivers technical application notes and MOP (Method of Procedure) Develops SOW (Scope of Work) procedures and documents Review Engineering Technical Datasheets, Manuals and application notes for accuracy Offers subject expertise at internal and external customer facing events Supports Sales Team by responding to customer's request for information (RFI) through providing datasheets, manuals, technical data, etc Supports Sales Team by responding to Request For Proposal (RFP) or Request For Quote (RFQ) from customers by generating system diagrams and Bill of Materials (BOMs) Perform cross departmental communications (liaison) to expedite customer solutions Provide weekly updates on special projects Handle special assignments to support projects Collaborates with Sales to culminate opportunities into a Sale Engage in customer-facing activities
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics 3+ years of experience in sales engineering or a related field 2+ years of Fire Alarm experience Strong technical background in application and systems engineering Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
