The research engineer will work with the PI on facilitating the lab's ongoing research projects in the immersive system.

Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing, and testing an edge-assisted hardware testbed. Integrating our mobile robotic platform for human-centered AR evaluation and multi-camera systems for visual offloading and 3D reconstruction. The research engineer will also be expected to assist the PI in preparing preliminary results and manuscript drafts for proposal and paper submissions.

Requirements:

M.S. in Robotics Engineering or a related engineering/computing field Hands-on experience with ROS 2 Experience developing, integrating, or operating mobile robots, manipulators, or mobile-manipulation systems Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.

Salary is $72,000 depending on experience.
