Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Embedded Systems) Overview Seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain embedded systems in a hands-on lab environment, working closely with hardware teams. Responsibilities Design, code, and maintain software applications with minimal oversight Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers and FPGAs Build GUI applications and create technical documentation (ICDs, specs, test procedures) Debug hardware/software systems using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) Requirements Strong experience with Linux, Embedded Linux, and C/C++ Experience in embedded software, firmware, and hardware integration Familiarity with SDLC, SQL, and development tools (e.g., Visual Studio) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Qualifications Active Top Secret Clearance required Level 2: Bachelor's + 2+ years experience Level 3: Bachelor's + 5+ years experience Entry-level candidates with relevant C/C++ internships may be considered Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hunt Valley, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
