Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety. Intuitive Machines is seeking an in Intern to join our team in Greenbelt, MD.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a rising senior (entering final year) in a Bachelor s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Software, or related discipline) Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for NASA contractor site access) Must be available to work on-site in Greenbelt, Maryland for the duration of the internship Technical Skills Foundational knowledge in core engineering principles relevant to discipline of study Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, CAD, Python, or discipline-specific applications) Familiarity with engineering documentation, design processes, and technical reporting Experience with lab work, research projects, or academic team projects a plus Knowledge of aerospace, robotics, or space systems a plus Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision Roles & Responsibilities Support development and optimization of AI infrastructure for robot software systems Assist in designing, testing, and deploying machine learning models for autonomous robotics applications Collaborate with engineers on software integration and system validation Document processes, code, and findings for team knowledge sharing Participate in sprint planning, team stand-ups, and design reviews Contribute to research and evaluation of emerging AI tools and frameworks relevant to robotics EEOC Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
