Job Description
Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture & Data Group, Division of Technical Engineering & Architecture. As an IT Specialist (APPSW), referred to here as Robotic Process Automation Developer, GS-2210-12, you will provide support for robotic process automation (RPA) solutions for national health insurance programs. This job is open to The public U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Career transition (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL) Federal employees whose job, agency or department was eliminated and are eligible for priority over other applicants. Duties Assist in documenting current-state workflows and identifying manual, repetitive tasks suitable for automation. Translate business requirements into technical workflow designs. Build and configure software bots using RPA tools and relevant programming/scripting languages. Develop and execute unit and integration test cases to validate bot functionality. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of deployed bots. Requirements Conditions of employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or National to apply for this position.
