Job Description

This role will be responsible for the creation of new tools and update features within our existing technologies to allow for the testing of industrial controls programs in a virtual environment before entering production. Responsibilities will include gathering requirements for upcoming projects, implementing solutions to handle those requirements, and test them in conjunction with other software design team members. "
Basic:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. 5 years' experience developing in at least one of the following: C#/Java/JScript/C++ 2 years' experience with control systems and programming PLCs. (Rockwell/Siemens) Experienced at reading technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Preferred:
Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or broader manufacturing industries. Experience in Test Driven Development or Industrial Digital Twin testing environments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working closely with other teams. Experience working in WinMOD, Emulate3D, or Process Simulate or equivalent environment. Knowledge of controls standards for Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other automotive manufacturers.
Other Capabilities:
Capable of working in a hybrid office and remote environment. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with short turn-around times. Technical writing and data presentation skills. Solid organizational skills including proven ability to multi-task. Willing to research new processes and technologies to improve the workflow of future projects.
