Description:
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and managing new product. Serves customers by analyzing technical requirements; adapting products to customer's needs; mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:
Enhances product applications engineering team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions Defines customer adaptation issues by conferring with customers, account managers, product management specialists, and customer support representatives; evaluating conditions; specifying requirements; translating customer requirements into product features; conducting supportability reviews Develops technical solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative solutions; planning systems integration; isolating and correcting problems; providing estimates Develops product design solutions by completing design analysis and calculations; evaluating options; performing trade-off studies; and selecting optimum solution Implements technical solutions by defining specifications and establishing integrations Validates results by designing diagnostic tests; creating test scripting routines; conducting benchmark tuning/testing; identifying and resolving faults Maintains results by establishing and maintaining system development standards documentation, application notes, and software libraries; training customer personnel; developing training manuals; responding to technical inquiries; escalating problems to engineering; managing customer expectations Provides technical support by providing information and answers to other departments; offering solutions regarding problems Reduces costs and increases serviceability by developing reusable applications and test routines Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging technologies; learning current and pre-release systems, products, platforms, and complimentary tools Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
Software Requirements, Product Development, Software Project Management, Software Quality Assurance Process, Presenting Technical Information, Process Improvement, Innovation, CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design, AutoCAD Proficient in all Microsoft applications - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience and Educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree required 5 to 8 years of related background and experience preferred
