Job Description

We are looking for an AD L4 Embedded System Integration and Sub-System Architect to ensure the technical consistency, performance, and seamless integration of the AD L4 subsystem within the AV-ready platform.

The role combines system architecture, cross-functional coordination, and technical integration to align hardware, software, and vehicle-level requirements.

Within TECH Research, we explore and assess the feasibility of disruptive technologies, including AV-ready solutions for Level 4 autonomous driving and
REAA/SACO
scope focuses primarily on autonomy safe system design and advanced connectivity.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
System Architecture & Technical DefinitionDefine and maintain the functional, logical, and physical architecture of the AD L4 subsystemEnsure HW/SW compatibility and integration within the global vehicle platformDrive requirements allocation and traceability down to component levelBuild and justify the system design and safety concepts (incl.
ISO 26262
alignment)Integration & Impact AnalysisAnalyze the technical impact of introducing AD L4 subsystem on vehicle platform (HW, SW, E/E architecture)Define and coordinate integration strategies (ECU, sensors, compute platforms)Contribute to integration, validation, and verification plansTransversal Leadership & Team CoordinationOperate in a cross-functional engineering team (system, HW, SW, safety, validation)Coordinate contributors across multiple technical centers and domainsAct as operational leader ensuring alignment and efficiency of contributorsDrive technical arbitration and decision-makingPerformance & Project Objectives OwnershipEnsure achievement of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) targetsGuarantee consistency and robustness of engineering deliverables through technical reviewsManage system-level risks, constraints, and opportunitiesParticipate in prospective and innovative activities including performing technology intelligence
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive R D or embedded systems integration
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (Engineering or equivalent)Strong experience in:

Embedded systems & real-time softwareHW/SW integration and ECU architectureAutomotive E/E systems and mechatronic components
Key Skills:
