APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

at our

WIXOM, MI

location.

Responsibilities:

Work with sales staff to develop customer applications. Prepare equipment and demonstrations for customer demos and tradeshows. Prepare training materials for products and provide in-house and on-site training for customers. Document successful applications in order to share knowledge within the Applications Engineering team. Prepare quotations for non-standard products and special applications. Document market requirements and translate into technical requirements as input for Product Management. Assist Product Manager with marketing opportunities.

Requirements:

BS degree in Engineering and previous experience with precision metrology systems preferred. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing desired. Strong communication and customer service skills as well as demonstration of superior mechanical capabilities. The ability to travel up to 50% and the flexibility to adapt and adjust to changing and competing priorities. We want you to succeed.
