Job Description This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable AWS deployments Automate repetitive tasks using Python and Shell scripting Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and applications Manage and optimize AWS resources for cost and performance efficiency Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms are in place Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Three to five years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience Hands-on experience with Git (version control) Strong expertise in Jenkins (CI/CD pipeline development) Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.) Experience in Python and Shell scripting Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Familiarity with microservices architecture Experience in production support and incident management Understanding of DevSecOps practices Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
