Job Description

The Impact You'll Make Are you an expert in acoustics and vibration who loves solving complex system-level puzzles? As our new Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Engineer , you will be the lead technical authority for Danfoss Power Solutions, guiding our teams and shaping the future of our NVH capabilities. You will be at the center of our innovation efforts, blending hands-on experimental testing with advanced engineering analysis. Your work will directly influence the next generation of our products. You will provide the critical insights that help us build quieter, smoother, and more reliable systems, strengthening our reputation for technical excellence and delivering what our customers value most. What You'll Be Doing Act as our lead NVH technical expert , providing guidance and data-driven insights to engineering teams across the business. Lead complex noise and vibration investigations from planning and testing to analysis, identifying root causes and guiding engineering decisions. Partner with product development teams throughout the entire lifecycle to resolve NVH challenges and optimize system-level performance. Develop and refine our NVH capabilities by improving test methods, engineering standards, and laboratory procedures. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping to build NVH competency across our global engineering organization. What We're Looking For A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience in a technical field like NVH, dynamics, or testing. Proven experience planning and conducting experimental tests and using data-driven methods to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems. Direct experience in NVH engineering , including the use of accelerometers, microphones, data acquisition systems, and signal analysis. Familiarity with NVH software ( Siemens Test Lab or similar) and testing methods like modal analysis or shaker testing is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical findings to a diverse audience.
