The current opportunity as a Software Developer is in our Information Technologies Department . This position is a Permanent Full-Time Position.
Available Shifts:
Monday to Friday, Day Shift. •Overtime and on-call work as needed
Wage:
$50, 000.00 to $75, 000.00 depending on experience and skills Responsibilities and Duties Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions with a primary focus on web applications built using an MVC architecture. Develop and enhance server-side functionality using C# and the .
NET / ASP.NET MVC
framework. Design, write, and optimize database objects and queries using Microsoft SQL Server. Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON. Integrate applications with internal systems and third-party APIs and services as required. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Maintain code quality through documentation, code reviews, and adherence to development standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments. Other duties as assigned. Do You Have What It Takes? Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience developing software applications, particularly web-based applications using C# and
ASP.NET MVC.
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and modern application design principles. Solid knowledge of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience working with front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSON. Familiarity with client-server concepts, RESTful web services, and application hosting in IIS. Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and source control practices. Experience using Visual Studio and modern development toolchains; familiarity with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server is an asset. General familiarity with the Microsoft development stack (.NET, Windows-based environments). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects, changing priorities, and deadlines.
