Contingent Assignment About the Role As a Software Engineer, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact. You will analyze multifaceted technical challenges, design scalable solutions, and collaborate strategically with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant software solutions. Responsibilities Consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives that require advanced planning and cross-functional coordination. Analyze and solve multifaceted, long-term technical problems, including those involving ambiguous or unprecedented factors. Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using enterprise-scale databases, ETL frameworks, and cloud platforms. Contribute to resolution of complex issues by applying in-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate strategically with client and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives. Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Support strategy development and execution for software engineering and data platform initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of software engineering experience. 7+ years of experience working with Teradata. 5+ years of experience with ETL tools, including Ab Initio. 5+ years of advanced SQL development experience. 5+ years of cloud computing experience. 3+ years of experience with Google BigQuery. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Spark and Python. 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps practices and deployment automation in cloud environments. 3+ years of experience working in Agile development environments. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Industry-recognized cloud certification. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences and organizational levels. Proven ability to escalate complex issues and drive them to resolution. Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and partnering skills. Experience with technology strategy development and implementation.
