Overview Workplace INTEGRA is part of the Demant Group. In every aspect, from hearing devices, hearing implants and diagnostic equipment to intelligent audio solutions and hearing care all over the world, Demant is active and engaged. Workplace INTEGRA offers comprehensive occupational conservation services to companies with excessive noise levels in their workplace environments. We work with companies of various sizes and industries to deliver solutions that prevent hearing loss and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. We supply all software and services to launch and/or maintain hearing conservation programs. Workplace INTEGRA is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in High Point, NC. The Software Engineer plays a key role in developing, modernizing, and supporting Workplace INTEGRA's proprietary software and internal systems. This position partners closely with the Technical Support/IT Manager and development teams to enhance legacy applications, improve system efficiency, and deliver reliable solutions that support both internal operations and client‑facing technology. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, working with both legacy and modern technologies, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative, on‑site environment.
Compensation:
$95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experienceLocation & Schedule:

Collaborate with internal management to understand the needs of the business, document internal business IT functions, and implement solutions focused on increased efficiency and productivity. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated organizational skills, accuracy, timely deliverables, and attention to detail. Plan, design, draft, develop, and execute elegant features and capabilities that would expand client software and service offerings. Take a "self-study" initiative to learn new relevant products, software, and technology as needed; willing to learn and apply modern industry standards and procedures. Work with Technical Support/IT Manager to analyze, troubleshoot, and set up test environments; understand and evaluate the impact of software bugs and prioritize critical issues. Document internal software and system functions along with the ability to learn how they work at a systems level; proactively identify where improvements can be made to internal business IT functions as well as end-user software. All other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented. Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong logical troubleshooting skills; a creative, "problem-solving" mentality. Proficiency with PC software architecture & environments at a system level.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Two or four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a software development environment focused on both systems-level functions and end-user support. Familiarity with "legacy" PC software and programming languages such as Visual Basic 6. Some Crystal Reports experience/exposure or other similar reporting engine is preferred. Strong understanding of SQL Server and software integration. iOS development experience would be beneficial. Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell). Experience creating and supportingSOAP/REST API
integrations.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine. Candidate would be expected to physically be on location - this is not a remote position. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Pre-Employment Requirements:
