Job Description

Yang Du Position Summary :
As a student employee in the CSSE department, your primary role is to participate in research related to Game Development, Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality, Robotic Systems, AI Systems, and Educational Applications.
Responsibilities/Expectations :
Participate in lab development. Learn and contribute to game development, using Unreal, Blender, Unity, and related tools. Learn and contribute to embedded/robotic systems and related hardware/software. Learn and contribute to the development of artificial intelligence systems. Learn and contribute to augmented/virtual/mixed Reality development. Document work completed as required by the methodology being followed (i.e., Agile, etc.)
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :
Preference given to a full-time undergraduate student in the SE, CIS major, or CS minor. Completion of coding classes in C++, etc. Completion of the
CSSE CSCI 277
Game Development course (preferred). Completion of the
CSSE CIS 388/688
Machine Learning course (preferred). Up to 10 hours per week. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision at times. Ability to work in a team environment. Resume and cover letter not required.
