By lunch, you've sized a control valve, validated regulator selection, and issued a precise quotation. The afternoon brings a quick call with an Account Manager to resolve a PO discrepancy, followed by advising a natural gas utility on pressure management. You wrap with proactive follow-ups that move opportunities forward—because you're the technical anchor for your account team. About Control Associates For over 90 years, Control Associates has advanced industrial process automation across the New York tri-state area. As an Emerson partner, we deliver valves, regulators, valve automation, measurement, pressure management, asset reliability, data management, and full process automation solutions to premier clients in Life Sciences, Natural Gas Distribution & Transmission, HVAC, Power, Chemical, and Downstream Hydrocarbons. Impact You'll Make Own internal account relationships for offerings including control valves, regulators, valve automation, instrument & valve services, and process automation solutions. Interpret specifications, technical requirements, and commercial terms; perform application engineering; build accurate, compliant quotations. Serve as the primary inside point of contact—responding to RFQs, providing technical data, and guiding troubleshooting. Audit purchase orders against quotations and resolve variances professionally and promptly. Issue comprehensive quotes and conduct timely follow-up to drive wins. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry/Biology, Computer/Technology, or Mechanical preferred). 2+ years in engineering, operations, or sales within our served industries. 2+ years supporting clients in a sales organization or process. Strength in prioritization, multitasking, and resolving customer deliverables with urgency and quality. Collaborative approach and track record of team results. Professionalism, strong work ethic, and pride in outcomes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel, and CRM platforms. Customer-first mindset with relationship-building skills. Problem-solver for both technical and commercial challenges. Base salary of $70,000-$93,000 plus bonus potential tied to technical and sales impact.
