Job Description

Mainframe Developer AI/GenAI Introduction:
We are seeking a Mainframe Developer AI/GenAI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mainframe Enterprise COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and Batch Processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in requirements analysis, design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of application components using standard mainframe technologies.
Responsibilities:
Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessment for enhancements, defect fixes, modernization, or regulatory changes. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application components using standard mainframe technologies ensuring alignment with client''''s approved coding, security, and architectural standards. Perform analysis, coding, unit testing, and documentation for batch programs, online transactions, and interfaces running on the mainframe platform. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and defects. Support system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing defect fixes, data corrections, and validation support.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Very strong on Mainframe Enterprise COBOL and JCL. Hands-on expertise in VSAM, DB2, and CICS. Client is looking for hands-on and senior resources with expertise who can set up and drive the team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Gen AI.
