Application Programmer#26-06289 Jersey City, NJ Hybrid Contract Starts 8/10/2026 Ends 8/09/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a UI Programmer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a global markets UI team, serving as a full-stack engineer responsible for the planning, design, development, and testing of software releases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building UI stacks with ReactJS, writing effective unit tests, and designing real-time analytics pipelines while partnering with business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, develop, test, and execute software releases Collaborate with development peers and business partners to understand the book of work and assist with development efforts Create effective unit testing coverage for developed code Ensure software releases arepliant from an enterprise and regulatory perspective

Requirements:

Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Experience in full-stack development Experience building UI stacks using React.js, ES6+, WebSockets, OpenFin/Electron, Tailwind, etc Experience in development in any object-oriented programming language Excellentmunication skills Motivated, self-starter, and organized Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Exposure to Global Markets in a financial asset class Desired skills: Full-stack development experience using Python or Java Experience designing and implementing distributed pipelines for ML-powered systems Proficient in using or building CI/CD tooling using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and CodeBuild Ability to identify and improve the quality, capability, and efficiency of code applications Experience partnering with business and technology teams to define and implement target state business processes Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
