Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineering SME with expertise in Java, AWS, DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions Manage and support AWS cloud environments including networking, compute, storage, and security services Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes environments in production Build and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-native applications and infrastructure Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment-related issues Support operational best practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts Maintain secure and scalable cloud and containerized workloads Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation Experience running Kubernetes in production environments Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, and load balancing Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and Git-based version control Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with VoIP or real-time communications technologies including SIP, RTP, SBCs, or call routing Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or SQS Familiarity with databases including PostgreSQL or DynamoDB Experience with security hardening for cloud and containerized workloads Certifications AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD Terraform certifications preferred
