Job Description

Soni Resources is partnering with a luxury client near Robbinsville, NJ, on the search for a Workday HCM Implementation Lead . This role will drive the end-to-end deployment of Workday across our HR function and be responsible for translating HR strategy into scalable system solutions, leading configuration, and ensuring successful adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead full lifecycle implementation of Workday HCM, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and go-live Partner closely with HR leadership (HRIS, Talent, Payroll, Benefits) to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions Configure and optimize core Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll as applicable) Define and standardize HR business processes within Workday (org structures, job architecture, workflows, approvals) Manage third-party implementation partners and hold accountability for timelines, deliverables, and quality Oversee integrations between Workday and other HR/enterprise systems (e.g., payroll providers, ATS, benefits platforms) Lead UAT, training, and change management efforts to drive user adoption across HR and the broader business Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
Hands-on Workday HCM implementation experience (must have led or played a key role in at least one full lifecycle HCM implementation to from Workday) Strong expertise across Workday HCM modules (Core HCM required; additional modules strongly preferred) Deep understanding of HR processes, data structures, and compliance considerations Experience working with HR stakeholders and translating business needs into system configurations Proven ability to manage vendors, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders Strong communication and change management skills
Compensation:
$40/hr - $60/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #SONICNJ
