Job Description
About the Role As a Boomi / Kong Integration Architect, you will make an impact by architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing integration and API solutions across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of the Integration Architecture team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to drive integration strategy and execution. In this role, you will:
- Architect end-to-end integration solutions using Boomi, Kong, and/or Apigee aligned with enterprise standards
- Define APIs, integration patterns, and data flows to enable seamless system connectivity
- Establish reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for API and integration platforms
- Ensure security, scalability, resiliency, and performance of integration solutions
- Lead technical design, provide architectural governance, and mentor development teams What you need to have to be considered:
- 10+ years of enterprise integration experience with strong expertise in Boomi and API platforms (Kong/Apigee)
- Deep understanding of API design, integration patterns, and messaging frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere and API Gateway implementations
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture solutions These will help you stand out:
- Experience with automation platforms such as UiPath or Appian
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and streaming technologies (Kafka, etc.)
- Experience building Integration & Automation CoE frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Work Model:
Client based inWarren, NJ Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,890 -180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program.Benefits:
