Contract Job Overview:

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. This role involves working on a data platform supporting multiple domains and building pipelines to manage data flow between upstream applications and downstream users.

Responsibilities:

Consult on or participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives. Analyze and resolve moderately complex Software Engineering challenges. Collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Build and maintain data pipelines to support multiple domains under CAO, such as Corporate Properties, SCM, and Corporate Security. Work with SQL and Google Cloud for data persistence and modeling. Contribute to team capacity by taking on tasks with minimal support and direction.

Qualifications:

4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. 5-8 years of engineering experience. 6 years of SQL experience. Proficiency in Python. Experience with large data volumes, data modeling, and data design. 1-2 years of cloud technology experience, preferably Google Cloud (strong plus). Agile background is a plus. Dynamic individual with the ability to pick up new tasks quickly and take initiative.

Pay Range:

$60- $67/hr on W2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
