Who We Are HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a F-22 Fighter In A Box (FIAB) Software Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work on a team executing integration efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center

• Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis AFB, NV to support the U.

S. Air Force Warfare Center, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) team. This position is part of a team that provides on-site Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support to establish and deliver high-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test capability for Government personnel operating under

USAFWC/ACC.

 What You Will Do Provide on-site support of 31st Combat Training Squadron's Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role is a member of JSE Engineering Team and will focus primarily on the troubleshooting, configuration, optimization, and development of the

for advanced synthetic test and training environments within JSE at the JITTC-N. This will include, but are not limited to: Support

Daily Operations by monitoring simulator system performance. Troubleshot

issues by reviewing FIAB source code and/or JSE Platform Plugin source code. Developing enhancements and optimizing existing

with other JSE and non-JSE platforms Develop and assist with accurately reporting F-22 FIAB and JPP to deficiencies. What You Must Have 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Candidate must have experience in Software Development and Software Design. Candidate must have Software Development Experience in

source code, JSE Platform Plugin source code, or related experience. Candidate must be proficient working in a Linux command-line environment. Candidate must have strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills working independently and as part of a technical team. Candidate must have strong work ethic and initiative to troubleshoot, address, and prevent problems on complex tasks and systems. Candidate must have had an active Top Secret security clearance within the last 24 months. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and relevant SAP/SAR clearances. Bonus Points For Having! Current DoD TS/SCI clearance. Knowledge and/or experience with components of JSE or DoD training simulators is highly desired. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other productivity products is highly desired. Candidates with math, computer science, engineering, operational research, or equivalent technical degree is desired. Physical Requirements Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.
