Locals Only ! Visa- USC, GC, H4 EAD Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Java Developer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of innovative web applications and services. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Duties Assist in developing scalable web applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js. Collaborate on designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services utilizing technologies like WCF, SOAP, and JSON. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. Support database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB; write efficient T-SQL and PL/SQL queries. Contribute to front-end development efforts with UI/UX best practices using Bootstrap, TypeScript, AJAX, and XSLT. Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and collaborate effectively with team members using tools like GitHub, TFS, SVN, and Azure DevOps. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Proven experience or internship in software development with proficiency in Java programming language. Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js; experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Knowledge of backend technologies including Java EE (Enterprise Edition), Spring Boot or similar frameworks; experience with Microservices architecture is a plus. Hands-on experience working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL; understanding of database design principles. Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), RESTful API design, multithreading concepts, and debugging techniques. Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment using tools like JIRA or TFS; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
