Technical Program Manager II, Software Engineering, Augmented Reality _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ New York, NY, USA; San Jose, CA, USA . Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in program management. + Experience with the end-to-end software development life cycle (e.g., build, test, and release). + Experience managing programs for emerging technologies in one of the following: AI/ML, AR/VR, silicon or chip development. Preferred qualifications: + 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. + Experience in one of the following: AR, VR, Extended Reality (XR), System UI, or 3D graphics. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven by breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap - the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices - it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
