Designs, develops, operates, and maintains embedded software and firmware components integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing systems. Performs software development activities, including design, testing, debugging, and validation of safety-critical avionics systems, and supports integration of hardware, FPGA, and software systems in a lab environment.Job Requirements:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 16 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in software engineering and software development
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain embedded software and firmware components
- Develop device drivers, boot loaders, and built-in-test libraries in C
- Support safety-critical avionics mission computer software development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software, FPGA, and hardware interfaces
- Integrate custom hardware and FPGA systems with software in a lab environment
- Support documentation, error correction, and performance validation activities
- Participate in certification activities, including requirements and code reviews
