Application Analyst II

- FT Days Come join our long-term care revenue and billing team at SPHP!
Work as a team member of a fast paced, collaborative, experienced team at our St. Mary's location in Troy, NY! The Application Analyst is responsible for the implementation, support, maintenance, and optimization of health care billing and business applications. This role works closely with Revenue Cycle and Finance who ensure applications function efficiently, support operational goals, and comply with health care regulations, organizational standards, and vendor requirements. The Analyst provides technical and functional support for billing systems, troubleshoots issues, manages upgrades and enhancements, and assists with workflow improvements to support accurate and timely revenue cycle operations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, computer technology, information management, computer science, information systems or related field required or relevant work experience. Training in system analysis with special emphasis on system methodologies, project management, and business process reengineering related to information systems preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Five to seven years of experience as an analyst in acute care setting. Ability to provide value-added support to two or more applications with limited supervision Pay range: $25.97
55 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
