Python Developer - W2
Role Location:
Columbus, OH (Onsite) Job description Proficiency in Python , with demonstrated experience building and maintaining backend services or APIs Working knowledge of at least one additional programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go) Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI, React, Angular, or Vue) Familiarity with RESTful API design, development , and integration Understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and deployment workflows Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git, including branching and pull request workflows Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, RBAC, OAuth, SSO) Experience integrating or working with IAM tools or providers (e.g., Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) is preferred Understanding of security best practices in web application development Experience with containerization and/or orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Exposure to Python ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) for simple data processing or experimentation Familiarity with prompt design and basic evaluation of AI outputs Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments for deploying and operating applications, including log monitoring, process/service management, basic troubleshooting, and writing simple scripts (e.g., Bash/ Python ) to automate routine tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot across the stack Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
