About:
The Field Applications Engineer is responsible for being the technical experts in the field of metal detectors. As an expert the position is expected to carry out technical support activities, train, and support sales. Provide technical trainings/re-certifications to internal employees, customers, and commercial partners. Assists in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of technical training programs for internal teams, external partners, and equipment end-users. Assist the Technical and Sales teams with presentations and tradeshows as required. Provide technical support for all current and potential key account customers Assist the Technical and Sales teams with custom solutions for new potential business. Assist with the development and maintenance of internal documents and procedures Create reports documenting results of trials, customer interactions, and other relevant technical matters Perform on-site installation and training of new and legacy equipment. Develop relationships with key account customers and obtain crucial technical feedback Work closely with the T&M and SI Labs to test, certify, and develop standards, test items and equipment, and provide product feedback. Assist in the management of department documents and Point site. Maintain thorough knowledge of all company products. Completes special projects as assigned.
