Job Description
Description We are looking for a Software Developer to join a manufacturing organization in Mentor, Ohio and contribute to the design, development, and support of business-critical web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable solutions with modern Microsoft technologies while collaborating with users across a variety of functional areas. The successful candidate will bring strong technical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to adapt effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET technologies.
- Build responsive user interfaces with Angular, JavaScript, and related front-end tools to improve usability and performance.
- Create and support web services and API integrations that connect internal and customer-facing systems.
- Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to support application functionality, reporting, and data integrity.
- Partner with stakeholders from different business areas to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver practical software solutions.
- Contribute to eCommerce-related development efforts, including support for platform integrations and user experience improvements.
- Evaluate, test, and apply additional web frameworks or development tools when they add value to project goals.
- Manage multiple assignments in a changing environment while maintaining code quality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing applications with C# and the .NET Framework.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET and web application development within a Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, and common front-end development practices.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, including query writing and stored procedure development.
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and system integration concepts.
- Exposure to eCommerce platforms such as Insite eCommerce is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a broad range of users.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort managing shifting priorities in a dynamic setting.
