Senior Java Developer Location:
Strongsville, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of critical web-based applications. Our team is focused on upgrading legacy technologies and ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance, and upgrade web applications utilizing Java, Spring, Struts, and Apache Tomcat server technologies. Address vulnerabilities as they arise and ensure all code is kept up-to-date with the latest standards. Own the development lifecycle for assigned applications, driving improvements and implementing user-driven enhancements. Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Required:
Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Struts, and Apache Tomcat server. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and growth. High school diploma and bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent 6 to 8 years of work experience. Openness to converting to full-time employment if a need becomes available.
