Job Description
Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses with a focus in software engineering forthe School of Computer Science, Information, and Engineering Technology. Advises and mentors students; conducts research and produces scholarship in their area of expertise. Seeks and secures external funding. Contributes to programmatic improvement, curricular development, and assessment efforts at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Establishes interdisciplinary collaborations across the University or with external organizations and performs service to the University. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (or an ABD candidate with a Ph.D. conferred by the time of appointment); and m ust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred Qualifications:
Research and/or teaching experience in the following or closely related areas: software engineering theory and practice, software security, software engineering for AI. Experience teaching at the college-level. Position to begin fall semester 2026 (August). Please upload all transcripts as one PDF file.
